In spring 2024, I finally had the opportunity to welcome Playboy Playmate Weronika Wabia to my studio for a special shoot. It had taken us almost a year to find a suitable time despite our busy schedules. I came across her Instagram profile in 2023 and was immediately impressed by her charisma. After contacting her, I was able to win her over for my projects, including calendar and magazine spreads.
Weronika's honest and direct manner impressed me even during our preliminary talks. In the studio, the Polish model showed her best side: professional, confident in posing and with a natural femininity that was inspiring. No wonder the German Playboy recently named her Playboy Playmate of the Month for August 2024.
The first photo series we realized in the studio is all about the power suit theme, which fits perfectly with my “Femininity” credo. We combined the classic, wide-cut trouser suit with seductive lace lingerie and platform patent high heels. This fashion combination not only emphasizes Weronika's physical presence, but also gives the look a subtle touch of seductiveness. The Power Suit thus becomes a symbol of self-determination and the balance between strength and sensuality, emphasizing the complexity of the modern woman.
Btw, the power suit emerged in the 1970s and 1980s when women in leadership positions were looking for an outfit that exuded authority. Inspired by menswear, it symbolized emancipation and equality. Today, the power suit stands for strength, self-confidence and modern femininity.
